2012 ICC World T20 Final Sold Out

COLOMBO (TheSportsNext) August 4, 2012: Cricket fans who are planning to tour Sri Lanka to watch final of the 2012 ICC World Twenty20 cricket tournament this year should review their plans as all the tickets of the final have already been sold.

The International Cricket Council said Saturday that while the tickets for final have been sold out, the ones for other matches in the tournament are still available.

Sami Aslam turns focus to ICC U19 World Cup

Great Britain beat Pakistan 4-1 in London2012 hockey

LONDON (TheSportsNext) August 3, 2012: Ashley Jackson scored twice as Great Britain saw Pakistan off with a 4-1 victory in Group B of the London 2012 hockey tournament here Friday.

Ashley Jackson scored his two goals from the short corner after James Tindall gave the hosts an early lead. The Great Britain were leading the Green Shirts by two goals to nil at halftime.

Speaking exclusively from London on Thursday, minutes after the ICC umpire, Steve Davis called 'dead ball' after Finn dislodged the bails at the non-striker's end, Pont said, "Steve Finn gets in very close to the stumps when he bowls, which comes from an angled run. If Finn continued his run along the line he runs in, he would run down the pitch towards long leg.

Yuvraj Singh commences match practice in Bengaluru

The Board for Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) selectors have already selected Yuvraj Singh in the country’s list of 30 probables for the upcoming 2012 ICC World Twenty20 to played from September 8 in Sri Lanka.
