Ex-Hyderabad Nazim wins top HDJA position

HYDERABAD, Pakistan (TheSportsNext) September 15, 2012: Former District Nazim Hyaderabad, Kanwar Naveed Jameel, Muhammad Raees Arain and Arshad Ahmed Qazi were elected as Chief Patron, President and Secretary General respectively in the elections held Saturday.

According to a press release issued here, the Elective General Body Meeting of the Hyderabad  Divisional Judo Association (HDJA) was held under the supervision of Mr. Abdul Malik, Chairman, Sindh Judo Association (Ad-hoc committee) at Green Hill View, Adjacent City School, Kohesar, Latifabad – Hyderabad.

The main agenda of the Elective General Body Meeting of HDJA was to elect the new office bearers of the Hyderabad Division Judo Association HDJA for the next four years term (2012-2016).

The Chairman Abdul Malik presided and Secretary Jamal Uddin of SJA Adhoc Committee attended the meeting and announced the results of the election.

The representatives of different districts namely Hyderabad, Dadu, Jamshoro, Tando Mohammad Khan, Matyari, Tando Allah Yar, Badin and Thatta took active part in the said meeting.

The following office bearers have been elected unanimously through show of hands.

1 - Mr. Kanwar Naveed Jameel (Ex-Nazim Hyderabad) as Chief Patron

2 - Mr. Qamaruddin Shaikh as Patron

3 - Mr. Mohammad Raees Arain as President

4 - Mr. Faisal Hameed Siddaqui as Sr. Vice President

5 - Mr. Anwar Durrani as Vice President

6 - Mr. Zulfiqar Kalyar as Vice President

7 - Mr. Haq Nawaz Qaim Khani as Vice President

8 - Mr. Muneer Shaikh as Vice President

9 - Mr. Rashid Khan as Vice President

10 - Mr. Raees Ahmed Khan as Vice Chairman

11 - Mr. Arshad Ahmed Qazi as Secretary

12 - Ms. Erum Hussain as Joint Secretary (W)

13 - Mr. Yameen Khan as Joint Secretary

14 - Mr. Hussain Bukhsh as Treasurer
