Afghanistan won their respective warm-up matches on Saturday ahead of the ICC
World Twenty20 tournament which is formally starting from Tuesday.
Irfan Pathan took five wickets to help India (146/5) to a
26-run victory over hosts Sri Lanka (120 all out).
In another match, Australia (139/6) defeated New Zealand (83
all out) by a massive margin of 56 runs.
Bangladesh (135/5) showed confidence in their five wickets
victory over Zimbabwe (134/6) as they chased down the target from 18.2 overs.
In the last match of the day, Afghanistan (209/7) defeated
Sri Lanka A (158 all out) by a huge margin of 51 runs.
