Wahab Riaz exchanges rings with future life partner

By Tasawwar Abbas

LAHORE: Pakistan’s left-arm fast bowler Wahab Riaz embarked upon a new journey of his life on Tuesday when he exchanged rings with his future life partner Bushra in Lahore.

Wahab Riaz, who has been an integral part of Pakistan’s quality fast bowling attack, first stole the limelight when he dismantled a strong Indian batting line-up in the last year’s Semi-Final match of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 in Mohali.

However, his alleged involvement in the infamous spot-fixing scandal did hurt his reputation among the fans and the International Cricket Council (ICC) kept pressurizing the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to decide against selecting the left-arm pacer in any format of the game.

However, Wahab Riaz has come a long way since then and now he is flourishing as a fast bowler and is ready to represent the country in all formats of the game.

As per details, Wahab Riaz’s fiancĂ©e, named Bushra, is daughter of a British businessman. The left-arm fast bowler is expected to marry Bushra sometime next year.
