KARACHI,
Pakistan (TheSportsNEXT) July 31, 2015: A six-wicket haul by fast bowler Steven Finn took England
closer to a mighty victory in the third Ashes Test match against Australia at
Edgbaston, Birmingham in United Kingdom on Friday.
England
bowled Australia out for 265 runs in their second innings but not without a
late-order fight posed primarily by Peter Nevill (59), Mitchell Johnson (14),
Mitchell Starc (58), Josh Hazlewood (11), and Nathan Lyon (12). The last five
Aussie wickets added valuable 173 runs to the total.
England
needed 121 runs to win the Edgbaston Test and go 2-1 up in the five-match Ashes
2015 series.
At lunch on
day three, England reached 4/0, still 117 runs away from a highly likely
triumph.
