MUMBAI (TheSportsNext) August 14, 2012: Asad Rauf, Pakistani cricket umpire in Elite Panel of the International Cricket Council, was hit by a sex scandal on Tuesday when an Oshiwara-based fashion model claimed that the cricket umpire used her for sex for several months for marriage pledges.

According to local media reports on Tuesday, an Indian fashion model Leena Kapoor has sent a written complaint to the office of DCP of zone IX mentioning that she met Asad Rauf in Sri Lanka through a friend some six months ago where they had not only exchanged numbers but also spent three days together.

Leena Kapoor stated that she fell sick after returning to Mumbai and Asad Rauf took no time to see her and strengthen the bond between them.

Besides making tall claims, Asad Rauf made marriage pledges during his visit to Mumbai and promised her to buy her a new flat, Leena Kapoor said adding that she was told by the umpire that he was already married and had two kids but he was still ready to marry her since his religion allowed him to marry more than once. He also said that his family would have no problem with his second marriage, Leena claimed.

Leena Kapoor and Asad Rauf kept meeting each other on the sidelines of Indian Premier League where the Pakistani umpire was hired to officiate cricket matches. She added, "I asked him several times about the marriage and he would always tell me that it would happen soon”.

After spending good bit of intimate time with the Indian model, Asad Rauf started feeling lack of interest in her and when a few days ago Leena Kapoor tried contacting him, there was no response initially. She stated that about five days ago, Asad Rauf called her telling her to end this relationship.

The Zone XI DCP’s office has confirmed receiving the letter by Leena Kapoor and told this scribe that a formal investigation would soon be commenced.
