(TheSportsNext) August 27, 2012: Pakistan’s Twenty20 skipper Mohammad
Hafeez achieved his career high position in the ICC Rankings for the One Day
Internationals on Monday when he jumped to number one position ahead of the
Pakistan-Australia ODI series that swings into action on Tuesday.
Offspin bowler and opening batsman Mohammad Hafeez, who has scored
2690 runs at an average of 26.90 and strike rate of 67.84 besides taking 86
wickets at strike rate of 32.77 from 104 One Day International matches for
Pakistan, secured 727 points to dethrone South African fast bowler Lonwabo
Tsotsobe from the top position in the Reliance ICC Rankings for One Day
Internationals.
Another Pakistani off-spinner Saeed Ajmal is the third best
bowler in ODI format in the ICC Rankings.
