Pakistan’s former hockey captain and goalkeeper Mansoor Ahmed appealed Tuesday
to the government to thorough investigate into the Olympics visa scam which is
handing bad name to Pakistani athletes worldwide.
Speaking at a press conference here, Mansoor Ahmed said that
the Olympic Visa Scam is a conspiracy to portray Pakistani sportsmen as
terrorists at the London 2012.
He stated that accreditation and visa process for Olympics
is not simple as two countries and their sports associations with various
ministries work together for the process.
Talking about Pakistan hockey team’s chances at the London
2012, the former captain opined that the current hockey team could finish 5th
or 6th.
