All NHL 2013 preseason games scrapped amid lockout

NEW YORK, United States (TheSportsNEXT) September 28, 2012: All the preseason games of the National Hockey League 2012-13 (NHL 2013) were cancelled Thursday by the NHL authorities after it failed to achieve common grounds with the NHL Players Association which resulted in the lockout.

NHL lockout in the offing after talks adjourned

NEW YORK (TheSportsNext) September 2, 2012: The NHL lockout is in the offing after officials of National Hockey League and NHL Players Association decided to adjourn contract negotiations after discussing an elusive deal for less than two hours on Saturday.

New York City is next stop for NHL labor talks

NEW YORK (TheSportsEncounter) July 31, 2012: The National Hockey League franchise owners and the NHL Players Association will meet yet again this week in New York City to further their NHL Labor Talks.

The existing NHL labor agreement is expiring on September 15, 2012 and most of the NHL fans are still in a fix about the future of the NHL 2013 season as many of them fear a 2004-like situation when the NHL organizers had to lose the whole season due to differences on the labor deal.

NHL, NHLPA to resume labor talks tomorrow

NEW YORK (TheSportsNext) July 18, 2012: The National Hockey League and the NHL Players Association are all set to restart labor talks at the League offices in New York with total revenue of the league being the focal point.
