Pakistan disabled cricketers to play Afghanistan

KARACHI (TheSportsNext) July 25, 2012: Honorary Secretary of Pakistan Disabled Cricket Association (PDCA), Amiruddin Ansari has announced PDCA Domestic Cricket Schedule 2012-13.

As per the program, one day and T20 series would be played against Afghanistan National Disabled Cricket Team.

Second series of three One-dayers and two T20s will be played against England National Disabled team in February 2014 in Dubai.




Discussion over the arrangements for the series is underway with the ECB Manager Ian Martin for Disabled Cricket.



Mr. Amir Uddin Ansari said that Pakistan is the pioneer of the disabled cricket. It has also been recognized by the ECB and other playing countries are also making their disabled cricket teams.

He hoped that soon the many disabled cricket mega events would be organized around the world.

The domestic program of PDCA third national disabled cricket champion ship semi finals and final will commence from 15th September 2012.

The fourth national championship will start from 20th November. Its matches will be played all over the country. 12 regional teams are expected to participate in the event.

Third NBP Pentangular Cup will commence from 3rd December. Teams from all the four provinces and one from federal Areas would participate in this tournament.

The first one-day disabled cricket tournament at district level would commence from 20th February 2013. Thirty six teams would take part in this tournament.
