Gavaskar tracks back on Indo-Pak series comments

TORONTO (TheSportsNext) August 9, 2012: Former Indian Test skipper Sunil Gavaskar, on Thursday, took a u-turn from his original stance about the upcoming Pakistan-India cricket series saying his comments were misconcepted.

Talking to NDTV, India’s living cricket legend clarified his stance saying Indian players required time to rest for the England series and this is where they are going to play against Pakistan.

KARACHI (TheSportsNext) August 9 ,2012: Former chairman Pakistan Cricket Board, Ijaz Butt, once again tried his bit to highlight the financial issues relating to the upcoming Pakistan-India cricket series scheduled for December saying that the PCB must stand strong on demand for a return series.
