PTBF wants NOC for Asian Tenpin Bowling Championship participation

KARACHI (TheSportsNext) August 9, 2012: The Pakistan Tenpin Bowling Federation (PTBF) has submitted application for NOC and funds to participate in 22nd Asian Tenpin Bowling Championship 2012 in Hong Kong.


 

In the championship apart from Pakistan, Korea, Malaysia, Thailand, India, Iran, China, Australia, Dubai, Uzbekistan, Hong Kong, Kuwait, New Zealand, Philippine, Qatar, Japan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Mukao and Indonesian teams are also participating.

In the championship which will be played from 2nd to 11th of September, Pakistan team will comprise of Aleem Agha, Shabbir Lashkarwala, Saleem baig, Muhammad Hussain Chatha, Zafar Iqbal and Ijaz Ur Rehman.

Singles, doubles, Trios and Team event categories would be played in the Championship.

While talking to media, President PTBF Muhammad Shuja Khan and General Secretary Ijaz Ur Rehman said that our players has a lot of talent and If God helps we will perform extraordinary in the championship.

They further said Pakistan name includes at International level because of bowling game. But unfortunately we do not have sufficient resources for needed the promotion of this game.

They said that we request to President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Raja Parvez Ashraf and Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Parvez Kiani, It is all because of tireless efforts of PTBF that Pakistan name is renowned in about 140 countries. But in Pakistan we have to face many hurdles to promote this.

They requested to authorities to take sufficient steps for the betterment of tenpin bowling game in Pakistan.
