KARACHI, Pakistan (June 30, 2015): Pakistani cricketers Azhar
Ali and Yasir Shah grew higher in the ICC Test Rankings released on Tuesday.
Despite of a 7-wicket loss in the 2nd Test match against Sri Lanka in Colombo at the weekend, Azhar Ali,
who made 26 and 117 in the match, jumped seven places to 12th.
Leg-spinner Yasir Shah, who
grabbed 8/151 in the lost cause, captured five places to his career-best position of ninth.
As far as Sri Lankan cricketers are concerned, Kaushal Silva moved up six places to a career high 27th while
Dimuth Karunaratne also gained eight places to 41st rank.
