KARACHI (TheSportsNext) July 31, 2012: Pakistan athletes continued bowing out at the London 2012 Olympic Games on Tuesday with shooter Khurram Inam and swimmer Israr Hussain failed to make an impression at the biggest sports stage in the world.

Now Pakistan’s Olympics medal hopes are associated with the national hockey team which drew their first match against Spain 1-1 on Monday, while Rabia Ishaq and Liaqat Ali are the other two athletes remaining in the hunt but not a lot is expected from them.

It is important to mention here that swimmer Anam Banday has already crashed out of the London 2012 Olympic Games in an embarrassing fashion.

Israr Hussain, who was making his first London 2012 Olympic appearance for Pakistan, stood last in the 100 meters freestyle event at the Aquatics Center on Tuesday with time of 57.86 seconds. The 26-year-old Pakistani swimmer entered the London2012 Olympic Games on a wild card after his good show at the Shanghai Qualifiers.

The other Pakistani athletes who crashed out of the London2012 Olympic Games on Tuesday was Khurram Inam, who was taking part in his third Olympic Games after Sydney 2000 and Athens 2004. Khurram Inam, did his best in the final two rounds with scores of 20 and 25 but failed to match his competitors as only the top six qualifiers were to compete in the finals.

Khurram Inam, who is Pakistan’s top skeet shooter, had a best Olympic total of 67 scoring 21, 23 and 23 in the first three rounds previously.
