Scotland humble Bangladesh by 34 runs in T20I

THE HAGUE (TheSportsNext) July 25, 2012: Bangladesh failed to keep their winning momentum on Tuesday when minnows Scotland recorded an emphatic 34-run victory over the tourists in the only Twenty20 International played at Sportpark Westvliet in The Hague.

With this defeat, the high-flying Bangladesh are now back to ninth number in the Reliance ICC Twenty20 Rankings and Pakistan have retained their fourth position.

Bangladesh to play two more T20Is in Europe

DHAKA (TheSportsNext) July 24, 2012: After historical whitewash in the Twenty20 International series against Ireland, Bangladesh cricket team has added another T20 match to its tour to Europe.

Bangladesh cricket team are schedule to play against Scotland and 25th July which would have been their last match on the tour, but the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced Monday that the national team will take on Netherlands on July 26, 2012 to conclude a successful tour.

KARACHI (TheSportsNext) July 23, 2012: The Bangladesh cricket team outplayed Ireland in three-match Twenty20 International series on this weekend which has earned them a respectable fourth position in the Reliance ICC Twenty20 Rankings.

By clean-sweeping the Irish team in their backyard, the Bangladesh cricket team fetched enough points to go past teams like Pakistan, Australia, New Zealand, and India in the Reliance ICC Twenty20 Rankings issued on Monday.

Is Bangladesh really the 4th best T20 side?

By beating Ireland 3-0, Bangladesh are now the 4th best team in Twenty20 cricket. This headline says it all, and just adds to the absurdity of it. Bangladesh are now, according to official ICC rankings, the 4th best team in the world in Twenty20 cricket.

Moshrafe Mortaza helps Bangladesh whitewash Ireland in T20I series

BELFAST (TheSportsNext) July 22, 2012: All-rounder Moshrafe Mortaza delivered the goods with both bat and ball to help Bangladesh to clinch a last-ball-thriller at Civil Service Cricket Club on Saturday as the tourists clean-swept the Twenty20 International series against Ireland.
