LONDON (TheSportsNext) August 11, 2012: Two goals
by Orlin Peralta helped Mexico create history at the Wembley Stadium on
Saturday as they won their first gold medal in the Games by undoing Brazil by
two goals to one in final of the London2012 soccer tournament.
Orlin Peralta scored one of the fastest goals in the history
of Olympic Games as he took only 36 seconds to give Mexico an upper hand
against the South American soccer giants Brazil.
Both teams kept assaulting goals of each other but execution
was not that perfect. However, Orlin Peralta proved the only man found with
execution in the 74th minute when he cemented Mexican claim on the
Olympic Gold before getting substituted in the 85th minute of the
match.
Brazil tried their best to break the shackles and went
all-out in the dying stages of the match but failed to force the issue until 90th
minute of the match when Hulk held one back but Mexicans had done enough damage
to be crowned as the Olympic soccer champions at the packed Wembley Stadium.
