BCCI bars Pakistani players from IPL

Life-banned Sudhindra won’t take BCCI to court

MUMBAI (TheSportsNext) August 5, 2012: Nearly one month after being life-banned over his involvement in the spot-fixing, the 28-year-old IPL player, T. P. Sudhindra has decided against taking the Indian cricket board to court.

Speaking exclusively over his mobile from Bhillai, where the Hindupur, (Andhra Pradesh)-born cricketer now resides, said, "No, I am not filing any legal case against the BCCI".

Ex-ICC Chief urges PCB to stop following BCCI

KARACHI (TheSportsNext) July 26, 2012: Former chief of the International Cricket Council (ICC) from Pakistan, Ehsan Mani, on Thursday, urged the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to refrain from getting overshadowed by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

The Indian cricket board has recently invited Pakistan cricket team for a limited overs series in their country this December and Ehsan Mani, who is renowned for his stance on tough issues, is of the view that the PCB should have hosted this series because it was not India's turn.

Zaka Ashraf terms India-Pakistan series as 'ice-breaker'

LAHORE: Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Zaka Ashraf said Tuesday that the resumption of Pakistan-India cricketing ties is an “ice-breaker”.

Talking to reporters in Lahore, Zaka Ashraf revealed that President Board for Cricket Control in India (BCCI), N Srinivasan has confirmed him about the three-match One Day International and two-match Twenty20 International series in phone call.
