ISLAMABAD (TheSportsNext) July 19, 2012: The
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Women Wing announced Thursday the national women
team which would tour England and Ireland and named Sana Mir as the captain.
Syeda Nain Abidi was appointed as vice captain of the team
which will take on England and Ireland in their backyards from August 18-30,
2012.
During the tour, Pakistan woman team will participate in a
Tri-Nation Series which will also include Ireland and Bangladesh where they
will play three One-Dayers and Twenty20 Internationals each. Later, Pakistan
women team will start its England tour from August 30 where they will play
seven T20 matches, two T20s each against England, Under-19 team and against a
local club there.
The Training Camp of Women Team and reserves will be held
from July 20 to August 16 at Southend Club, Karachi.

Pakistan’s women team includes Sana Mir (Captain), Syeda
Nain Abidi, Bismah Maroof, Javeria Wadood, Nida Rashid, Marina Iqbal, Batool
Fatima (wicket-keeper), Qanita Jalil, Asmavia Iqbal, Rabiya Shah, Elizabeth
Khan, Sadia Yousaf, Nahida Bibi and Masooma Junaid.
The reserve players are Mariam Hussan Shah, Sumaiya
Siddiqui, Kanwal Naz and Javeria Rauf.
