LAHORE (TheSportsNext) August 7, 2012: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), on Tuesday, welcomed an offer made by former Pakistani skipper and legendary left-arm fast bowler Wasim Akram to train young fast bowlers.
LAHORE (TheSportsNext) August 7, 2012: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), on Tuesday, welcomed an offer made by former Pakistani skipper and legendary left-arm fast bowler Wasim Akram to train young fast bowlers.
Media Manager at the PCB, Nadeem Sarwar, told a local
channel, on Tuesday that the PCB welcomed the offer made by former paceman and
deemed it a good omen for Pakistan cricket.
Nadeem Sarwar said that Pakistan has produced qualify fast
bowlers in the past. Wasim Akram is also one of them and the PCB was nurturing
the young and coming fast bowlers to get them ready for international cricket.
He further stated that the PCB is striving hard to provide
best possible cricketing facilities to the young and emerging fast bowlers at
its national cricket academies.
It is important to mention here that Wasim Akram had offered
the PCB to coach young and emerging fast bowlers to make a good pool of pacers
for the national cricket team.
