AHMEDABAD, India (TheSportsNEXT) November 15, 2012: A brilliant century by Virender Sehwag and an unbeaten half century by Cheteshwar Pujara helped India seize the initiative on first day of the Ahmedabad Test at Sardar Patel Stadium on Thursday.

Virender Sehwag hit run-a-ball 117 runs hitting 15 fours and a six while Cheteshwar Pujara was not out at 98 when umpires called it stumps with India at 323 for four.

Graeme Swann was the only England bowler with wickets to his name as the quality off-spinner took all the four wickets.
