PCB renews contracts of its 50 employees

KARACHI (TheSportsNext) September 4, 2012: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), on Tuesday, renewed contracts of about 50 of its non-permanent employees and appointed former wicketkeeper Wasim Bari as Instructor for Game Education.

 

As per the details, a number of former cricketers including former leg-spin maestro Abdul Qadir managed to keep their presence at the cricket board by winning the contractual jobs.

Contracts of these employees had expired on June 30, 2012.

Abdul Qadir has been given the responsibility of taking care of grass-roots cricket while Wasim Bari was handed the job as Instructor of Game Education.

Most of these employees have been offered contractual jobs spanning over three months, six months, a month, and a year.
